Shirohae is the season term for the end of the rainy season. It is called about freshning south wind that blows the rain cloud away.

There are over two thousand names of wind in Japan. In ancient times, the strong wind of fall named 'Nowaki' in the story of the Pillow Book. Famous ones may be 'Haruichiban' for the first spring storm or 'Kogarashi' for the first cold blast. These names are called differently not only depends on seasons, but locality or how to blow.

Our ancestors - had gathered the threads of their lives with nature. We have inherited such spirit of how every kind of wind is named for all four seasons , and evryday life is elegantly enjoyed.
