January 10, 2014 Winter festival "4545 Matsuri"
Dates: Friday 20 to Sunday 22 December 2013
Venues: Badou-R Main shop, Kyoto Shop, Sendai Shop, Hiroshima Shop, Fukuoka Shop
The last festival of 2013 was 4545 Matsuri, or Yoiyoi Matsuri. It was held at five flagship stores across Japan to show our gratitude for 2013. It hailed in Tokyo, a rare event, and we had a very cold first day. On Saturday and Sunday, the weather improved and we had many customers. The special items for this festival were flowers for ladies, and traditional black marine for men. These garments are perfect for Christmas and New Year's. These three days were filled with smiles and omotenashi, or special seasonal treats.
What is Omatsuri?
Our Omatsuri are events through which we share with you the traditional festivals that are unique to Japan. We started our Omatsuri in the summer of 2009.
We hold events at our flagship stores in Japan four times a year, welcoming you with special seasonal items, garments and seasonal foods – Omotenashi.
