December 17, 2015 Winter Festival "4545 Matsuri"
Badou-R main shop and Kyoto shop 11-13 December
Takasaki, Sendai, Hiroshima and Fukuoka shops 18-20 December
It's already only three weeks until the end of 2015! We held the annual end of year "4545 Matsuri" from 11 December to 13 December at the Badou-R main shop and Kyoto shop. The beginning of the festival was unfortunately rainy, but the weather recovered by noon and sunshine broke over Tokyo. It turned out to be a really good day for a festival. The team made rice cakes with a traditional usu and kine (mortar and mallet) that were then served to customers. There were many smiles and we had a perfect festival over the three days. This weekend, we will start the party at the Takasaki, Sendai, Hiroshima and Fukuoka shops. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
What is Omatsuri?
Our Omatsuri are events through which we share with you the traditional festivals that are unique to Japan. We started our Omatsuri in the summer of 2009.
We hold events at our flagship stores in Japan four times a year, welcoming you with special seasonal items, garments and seasonal foods – Omotenashi.
